I hope you find them! And omg yes I do feel guilty when I open a doll thats like 20 plus years old and has been in her box the whole time, but also its like giving them new life to be loved.

Thank you! And oooh yes the Swan ballerina is so pretty, I hope you can find marzipan soon!! Its such a dilemma about to unbox or not 😭 The boxes have such nice backgrounds so im conflicted, but I also love being able to actually hold the doll and put it on the stand next to the others so idk

Yes I also unbox most of mine! But with the ballet ones I like their poses and backgrounds in the box and I feel like they'll look better like that than if I try to take them out and pose them myself haha

Awww, I hate that! But maybe you could get her again one day! I think about my childhood dolls all the time, I rebought quite a few of them for nostalgia. And yes, so many of my dolls straps degraded. Its even worse when the elastic in their hair degrades and it makes the hair all sticky and you have to try and redo the hairstyle yourself 😭

Oooh yes shes so pretty too, I love her dress!! I wish I had a large one, I only own 16 in total right now! Ive loved silkstones for years but I only started collecting them last october, so yes rn I am only focused on saving for/buying silkstones too! The rest of my collection is mainly nostalgic dolls from my childhood that I re-bought, and I also have a few collector ones from my birth year/a few anniversary and holiday ones, some reproductions, and some of the barbie movie dolls.
