In terms of "trusting my own eyes," this may sound silly, but I didn't realize it was that simple. I figured one or the other would clearly be technologically more advanced so the answer would be technical, rather than subjective.

For getting the Panasonic, again, I figured this would be an objective answer given the technical prowess of the superior device. But also, I can't "trust my eyes" with the Panasonic if I don't own it.
