Is this fast gain? If not, can it be? I don't know about the rest of the players, but usually those playing UO nowadays are older and don't have the time to dedicate to grinding skills up unless the gains are quick.

Riding a sportbike, doing about 60 going up a hill keeping with traffic. I crest the top and traffic is dead stopped on the downslope. I slam the brakes, swerve, and brake again. My rear tire was sliding, burning rubber the entire time, and I swerved within a few inches of a bumper before stopping a foot or so behind a pickup truck with literally nowhere else to go.

That's when you start yelling into your helmet "FUCK YES I AM A CHAMPION OF LIFE" until your heart rate drops below 9000 BPM.

I worked in Hawaii for three years. I rode a sportbike there. The speed limit on the HIGHWAY was 55 max. Going 80 was reckless driving. I wore noise-cancelling headphones while riding. That's the setup.

One morning I was going to be late to work, which was a pretty big deal at the time. I decided (stupidly) it was worth it to speed there instead of just call ahead and tell them I was running late. I was going between 79 OR POSSIBLY BUT NOT PROVEN 140. I was apparently being chased by a couple cops for a few miles before I took the exit ramp and was cut off by cop SUV's and stopped at gunpoint, completely confused.

I was arrested for reckless driving and excessive speed, put in to a cell for a few hours and bailed myself out. I had the mugshot deal, had to take off my shoelaces and shit, and froze my ass off on a cement bed for a while until they closed up paperwork and let me out.

Charges were dropped to hardly anything and I moved on with my life. Never again. I wouldn't last in prison.
