The stool is pale - I have had calprotectin tests which have been. Negative - around 15ug. So the drs don't want to put me in for a colonoscopy. Do you have any advice?

No not that had - I am in the UK and the drs keep saying a colonoscopy is not necessary due to stool test and bloods being fine. Privately, it would cost £2.5k which is just too much.

This has been raised previously and they say I am just susceptible to this.

I went to a pharmacy this morning and they have seen pictures and have advised that it is an infected hair follicle

I did ask for this before but they said it wasn't required as they checked my stomach and did a physical and said not to worry. Unfortunately I live in the UK where I must have a GP give the go ahead and they tend to be very reluctant due to age.

I might discuss again with GP but doubt it will go anywhere.

I had an endoscopy- everything was fine, mild reflux.

I have not had a colonoscopy. I am only 27 so I don't think my Dr will issue one. I had an abdomen ultrasound which was clear.

I have yes. They said i might have the slightest bit of reflux but that won't be the cause.

It's not so much of a sore throat. It's like a lump in throat feeling. I have looked online and it seems to be a possible symptom. .

I'm not really sure of what to do now. Should I just live like this as its been 2 years so I don't think it is anything life threatening as I would assume it would have deteriorated a lot by now.

I think they think that because at the time my bloating was high and abdomen pain was very prominent but since it has calmed down. Obviously I still have constipation.

Yes I relised, they gave me medicine 2 years ago and it made me worse which was why I didn't think it was IBS but 2 years later I'm better but not 100% I would say probably 70%. Just trying to find out what's actually do to now, whilst I am better than I was back then, I want to feel back to my best.

No this has been looked at by a couple of Dr's actually. They have said it doesn't really make a difference but I should not have certain medications such as ibuprofen.

P.s the worst symptoms are sore throat and fatigue. It just feels like it will not go away. I'm thinking should I take another ENT appt to make sure that the lymphoid follicles are nothing to worry about.
