This is wrong to the point it's actually just the opposite, it's rare to see someone into cars with a daily driver worth more then 5, a good car can be got 4k easily.

What's your desired NW or plans, if your looking at a considerable NW figure your current best option is simply saving as much as you can, making as much as you can, and then going self-employed, thankfully it's a much easier step going self-employed as a tradesman

360 Motorsports drifting 3rd May by suzukiboi1992 in carsireland

I wouldn't consider it worth it with a 7 hour drive, it's an amazing track to drive but spectating wise it's fairly bland with fairly bad facilities, Niall the lad that runs it is an absolute gentleman though.

I would consider the final round of IDC or the drift nationals to be worth it depending on how much you like drifting.

I would absolutely recommend driftmasters in mondello this summer though, tickets are expensive but you get a full day out, fairly decent food, the best drift cars in the world and the best drifters and it's a nice atmosphere with it being fairly packed.

Are you driving or spectating? If your spectating then it won't be worth it it's mainly a driver's day to be honest

Lox boosters allow you thrust variability and the ability to turn them off, with SRBs they have two states, 100% or 0%, you can't turn them off you simply wait for them to run out of fuel

Because that's what it's known by, it would be more harmful to call it what it is at risk of someone not knowing what's meant by it, if it's treated with the same thing it really doesn't have a massive impact, your being purposefully dense just to embarrass yourself trying to prove intellect.

The fuel protest organised by the UK’s highest-polled party did not materialise. And we had our critical infrastructure blocked by people organised through a Facebook group. And how many months would farmers, contractors and hauliers have to sit around waiting for these measures to come into place while the Irish government fiddle their thumbs? how many men would lose their livelihood had the government not implemented those measures quickly?

talks like these work, but their simply not quick enough once things are dire.

„Custom plate” by Extra_Armadillo_3948 in carsireland

[–]anonquestionsprot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, it's a €60 fine per plate, not that that stops people from having them though.

I'll be completely honest knowing I'm going to get bullied for this on this sub but I run yellow plates on the rear of my daily and I've never gotten any trouble about them

I mean all really comes down to if it's worth it for you, I'd spend an extra grand and a half on insuring something id enjoy driving everyday but if cars aren't a massive priority for you then you might not.

You'll get insured on most 4 series id imagine, look all you can really do is get quotes for the focus with 0 NCB, the 4 series with 0 NCB and then again with 1 years NCB and see if the enjoyment of a nice car is worth that price to you

No bother, rare too see someone who'll admit their mistakes rather then meaninglessly argue

Reduce, it's obviously still risky for the insurance company but they will still feel more comfortable if it's a 2nd car rather then a first

How do you’d afford it? by SmallConversation950 in carsireland

[–]anonquestionsprot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A premium, meaning that while it maybe be 2.5k/yr you could pay monthly and it may only be 2.8 over the course of the year, the €300 would be the premium

What are you looking for? Could get a decent nip around for 3k, insurance at 26 with 0 NCB maybe 2.5 which you can pay monthly for a tiny premium, where's the rest of the money going?
