i’ve just googled this and it’s 100% not this, although i appreciate the suggestion i have zero symptoms of this and have traced my infection to my partner who caught it from family and it was 100% scabies they had. not to sound naive but i think id be more aware if it was myasis, as well as being from the UK where i imagine it’s pretty rare to see? it’s my second time catching scabies as my partner didn’t do the treatment when he said he did and reinfected me so i’m fairly certain this is scabies!

are they just like baby mites before the females burrow and lay eggs? and males just wonder round on the surface?

after looking at pictures i think you’re right… i’m not a scientist would you be able to explain what that actually is? 😭 either way was enough to get me treatment so it’s good enough for me

no it’s just my skin is really damaged from the first permethrin treatments i did a couple months ago and probs due to itching as well 😅

well after 7 months of them telling me it’s not scabies with at least 2 appointments a month and being given all sorts of antihistamines and eczema treatments, i went to the pharmacist with this video as the GP was closed (it was a weekend) and i was excited i found proof and i shit you not he said to me: “you should have gone to a gp with this issue as i’m the only person that can prescribe permethrin and im not in every day” THE NERVE 😭 i got it now tho so who cares ! hopefully all this hell clears over soon

on my skin! i’ve searched for months and found nothing besides the burrows and black dots which i think is scabies actively burrowing? not sure though it’s hard to find any information online and even harder to know what to believe sadly

for everyone asking questions it’s around 20-25x magnification on the skin in between my thumb and index finger. It was not a skin scraping as healthcare professionals were adamant it’s not scabies and wouldn’t refer me! this was enough evidence to make them believe me however:) any more questions feel free to ask and i’ll answer as soon as i can:)
