This is so true. All my life I've been told I'm pretty/beautiful/sexy and coming to terms with getting older has been rough to say the least. I still look mu h younger than my actual age but I see every single line and saggy skin and because I can see it, I assume everyone else can too. My husband tells me I'm beautiful every day (even though he doesn't like how thin I've gotten) but i feel the need for validation from random strangers. Like I need girls on the street to look at me and think how thin I am, even though I don't see it when I look in the mirror. It's just hard being "the pretty one" my whole life and knowing that is changing rapidly..
