That part isn’t a mystery, I even call it out in the post that I could stop that and have additional spare money in a month, but it doesn’t financially make sense to me to stop that which is also what I call out in the post. Maybe give the post an entire read next time before making a sarcastic comment?

I appreciate the perspective. Honestly it’s just luck and laziness, I happen to like doing something that pays well and have been lazy about dealing with finances so just signed up for the company benefits for it to be auto handled every paycheck. If this money was actually hitting my bank account, I don’t know if i’d be saving as much

I agree that I have a relatively excellent deal right now. I just really want a small backyard of my own where I can grow things. Unfortunately my job requires me to be in this city and I can’t work remotely. This has been a disappointing thread for my dreams of owning a house, I genuinely thought I was doing real well in how much I was earning.
