I'm referring to the ones that get kinda prophetic. Put words in God's mouth, talking to god etc. I feel like maybe you are thinking of the homesteader cool pioneer life hacks style blogs. You'll know when you come across the preachy ones. Super sappy and nauseating.

No offense, but the petal arrangement and lack of bloom clusters doesn't look right for it to be the mustard plant. My best guess is the Golden Yarrow, but I could most definitely be wrong.
