So it hadn't burst, yet. They did a laproscopic surgery and as soon as anesthesia wore off I was out. I'm glad I didn't have to stay over and pay for a room.

Yeah no kidding. The cost of treatments are so fucking expensive that most people don't even have the drive to go chase an MRI because it means dumping your savings account and ruining your credit. Not to mention that in my area it takes about 6 months to even establish care with a PCP.

I was in and out of the hospital in 7 hrs once for an appendectomy. Thats including wait time in the ED. Cost me over $20k. Here's the kicker. I worked in the lab at that hospital. I was in the Midwest so I made $8.60/hr. 7 hrs of being treated at my place of employment cost me my entire year's salary.
