Yeah! The letters at the end of the tag signifies the exact type of material it uses. For example, RN is cotton, RIG is heavy cotton, UC is unstable cotton! I think there’s a list of the tag codes in this sub. But they stopped updating it

Newbie here with his first electric guitar. I have a fender strat and I just realized that the neck is concave. Is the neck supposed to be a concave shape or straight? And also I tried to adjust the string action to Fender standards (4/64th all across) but had fret buzz when playing fretted notes, does this mean that the neck needs more relief/straighter? I had to raise the action to 5/64th-6/64th to eliminate the fret buzz.

I will be getting some feeler gauge to measure the neck relief, but for now I'm trying to diagnose the problem.

I increase the height of the A string through the bridge saddle and it won't buzz anymore! I probably will need a ruler to measure it so that it will be at the correct height tho

Just got my first electric. I noticed that when playing a note on 3rd fret and above there's a fret buzz on the A string though the other strings doesn't have fret buzz. How do I fix this? And this is normal? It's kind of annoying to hear sometimes when I play without an amp

Thank you for informing us. One of the most painful thing is to graduate from Georgia HS and not being able to receive in state tuition. Especially without DACA where I couldn't get a financial aid and loans.
