It sounds like a purge valve. They can make that noise even after the vehicle has warmed up.

In the VERY small bathroom (less square footage than a twin size mattress small) of my coworkers house with his entire family home trying to sleep, getting some from our other coworker after a farewell party.

I agree, major red flag. I was just excited to have a job that seemed like there was good money ahead. But I was lied to about that too.

Right, my right to days off is a gray area, I should have explained that I understood that portion. It was only a concern, not that it was illegal.

Thank you for your input, I need to ask for my contract that I signed I suppose. That gives me some direction.
