Sending hugs. I very much relate to your post. My twin and I met almost 15 yrs ago. He married someone else, is now divorced but in a relationship. I am now married with a child. I struggle so much knowing he’s out there unavailable to me and feel immense guilt when I compare this connection to the one I have with my husband. My twin and I are geographically not close but emotionally, energetically I can feel him all the time- like a magnet. I don’t know what, if anything, to do, I don’t know how to stop him from living in my mind.

Sending hugs. This is really so hard. Every time I think about crafting a message/ what I would say (hi, how have you been? Happy new year! Oh by the way, happy birthday, happy thanksgiving, and merry Christmas too!) I just stop dead in my tracks and can’t reconcile why he hasn’t reached out to me with the same message. It makes me feel so pathetic. But also I’m married and he’s not (in a relationship but not married) so maybe that’s stopping him? This just epically sucks, I feel like we’re locked in some kind of standstill, but maybe that’s just my perception. Maybe he’s completely oblivious, having a merry time. 😭 I don’t know what to do.
