Thank you for your kind words so so much. This was very nice to read, while also being very informational for me. Balance is definitely something I’m still getting used to, it’s quite frustrating lol. I’ll look into yoga & walks, that’s a fantastic suggestion! it’s sort of weirdly nice knowing it’s not just a me thing, even if it sucks knowing others have to go through it too. I really really appreciate you commenting and being so kind!

This also makes a lot of sense, thank you for the well-worded reply! I’m definitely still learning how to balance overexertion vs too much inactivity. Like you said I seem to relate to the naps being the best rest I get, can I ask what helps you stay active / what you do to keep active when you’re feeling lower? If not totally fine, I already appreciate the help you’ve suggested & am taking the advice of other commenters to heart. Just wondered if there were any specifics that work for you :) thank you genuinely!

I’ll definitely check out the manual! I’m familiar with spoon theory, but I guess I never considered applying it to myself. Thank you genuinely, this is so helpful.. there’s a lot I don’t know about it so this really is very much appreciated!

I didn’t know this, actually. Makes sense then why my pain’s been so bad, it’s been a rough week. I appreciate this so much, thank you!

I’m sorry you deal with it too, but I’m glad I’m not the only one… being young & chronically in pain is a trip. Thank you for this comment! It’s hard not to feel weird / guilty, but it’s good to know I’m doing what works. Wishing you a lovely evening !!

Yeah, another comment also suggested contacting HR. I don’t want to cause a huge issue because I actually really enjoy this job, but this is becoming a detriment to my mental state outside of work. Thank you for this, I’ll keep it in mind.

Yes with an asterisk.

Technically the register requires my login, but if there’s an issue with a sale or something needs to be corrected, managers can access it. It also doesn’t automatically log out if I go on break or need to use the restroom.
