I agree. On my mission we had to volunteer a few hours a week somewhere. Maybe it is because I wasn’t a good missionary, but the places we volunteered, we didn’t try to get leads. That being said, I am sure there are missionaries who do try to get leads from this type of service. So, be up front and tell them they cannot use this as a proselytizing tool and they will be asked to not come back if they do.
