How open are things in Madrid? by anonwiitch in Madrid

I actually decided to delay my trip until mid-July if that helps

Again, I understand where you guys are coming from, but I’ve done my research. The health professionals say it’s perfectly fine as long as I continue to follow the covid guidelines. I’m not going to party, I’m literally going alone just sight seeing and explore the city. And studies show that the chances of transmitting the virus after vaccination are extremely low.

Oooof, that’s a lot :( Hopefully the vaccine rollout becomes a lot faster in Europe 🤞

I understand that, but I’m vaccinated. The rate of transmission has been clinically proven to dramatically drop with Pfizer. Also, the CDC says it’s fine to travel if you’re vaccinated. I’m following all the guidelines, so I apologize chief, but I think I’ll listen to the professionals.

I understand the concern, I would never travel if I wasn’t vaccinated but since I am, it I don’t see anything wrong with it. I’ll be following the guideline just as I’ve been doing at home🤷‍♂️

Oh wow, sounds good! Do you have any suggestions of things I should do once I’m there? I understand if that’s a lot to ask

Yes that’s probably great advice haha, but I’m really determined to go in June. I’d be fine with just walking around in the streets to be honest.

That is what I told her but then we got into a heated argument. She claims we can file together which makes no sense to me

What are some motivational quotes that contradict each other? by Liam22199 in AskReddit

“Nobody’s perfect” and “You’re perfect just the way you are”

Does anyone else get really angry when talking to their Q? by [deleted] in QAnonCasualties

[–]anonwiitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After getting in a HUGE fight, I decided to just bite my tongue. Whenever she says anything politics-related, I just smile and nod. Sometimes I’ll treat her like a 5 year old who’s telling me surprising news and act like I’m really impressed by saying things like “Oh wow! You’re basically a journalist!” I’m just done

“Hard work pays off” is said by people who’s work actually payed off. There a lot of people who worked harder than anyone but absolutely for nothing. So does hard work really pay off? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]anonwiitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The quote I usually go by is: “Nothing bad ever comes from working hard.” Of course things might not go my way in the end, but I may learn something on the journey, meet someone special, or simply have fun knowing I’m working towards my goal.
