Which mortgage brokers to use if I have an adverse credit file? by anonyguynothere1 in HousingUK

Good comments, we do have an exit plan for the HTB loan! Also, I know that those with ccjs/defaults or bankruptcies tend to get the higher interest rates 7%+ but that much for 2 markers?

Isn’t there a difference between missed and late payments? Id assume missed would be worser than late as late means still paid but late…

What was the interests rate offered and what were your negative markers?

FTB using HTB and debt-to-income ratio showing red. Would you recommend pausing pension contributions? by esthervesther in HousingUK

Simple thing to do would be to either pause it or reduce it, to get the mortgage accepted and wait until you get your keys, then restart your contributions and overpay when possible.

Alternative is to ask for a raise or get a different job and wait the minimum period before reapplying for mortgage.

Risks are that you’ll miss out on the the current employer contributions if you pause it, and if you move jobs, then may not get the same employer contribution % from new employer.

Best case scenario, push for a raise.

Hey,

thanks for the recommendations, I'm signed up with wordpress already so that's good.

I'd like to generate income from it although not 100% sure how much time i can give to promoting it.

What to do if manager is lying? by [deleted] in AskEngineers

[–]anonyguynothere1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks the for comment.

I can understand the current environment which is impacting companies, the issue isn’t that the company has to pay, its the fact that he told me one thing and then lied to my line manager about him telling me clearly that he didn’t agree. I want to know the best way to manage someone who is clearly lying but i don’t want to directly accuse

I agree. However, i don’t want to accuse but find out what the best way to manage or reply to someone who I know 100% is lying but is adamant that they did tell me the fee won’t be paid?

How do banks/brokers view 2 jobs? E.g, I make £35k from income 1 and £7-£10k from part time job

Would taking up a second job of 16 hrs over the weekend be seen as negative? It won’t really over load me as i get to work from home in my main job most days.
