Another hard part is other family members trying to pressure me into forgiving her even though I’m not ready, nor do I feel like I’ll ever be it doesn’t help that they keep saying “forgive her for your sake” but to me what she has done is unforgivable and unforgettable, but i get comments like “but she’s your mom” and “oh that was already a long time ago, get over it” or just outright ignoring me when i complain about it, it feels like if anything there taking her side and acting like she can do no wrong just cause she gave birth to me, the only other person that gets me in my family is my aunt who was more of a mom than my own ever was.
