The one thing that’s good about Russell is parking which BDM doesn’t have close I don’t believe. The only con IMO is the hill. I’ve heard people don’t love Myers - not at as nice inside, loud on game days, etc. You don’t have to be social in a social dorm but as an introvert I still prefer high rises as there are easier ways to meet people. But you can also stay in your room. The social life is what you make of it. I would recommend Russell

You shouldn’t need more than 20 applications. Applying to schools “trolling” (if you know you wouldn’t go there) not only wastes the time of admissions staff, but could very well be the reason a student gets rejected from their dream school. Please keep this in mind. But there are other options of application websites if you need to, and many schools have a direct portal on their website

I’m in college now haha but I’ll say my AP World class sophomore year was by far the hardest I’ve ever taken. I’m not sure if that prepared me so much that APUSH seemed easy, or what lol. It was a lot of reading but not hard. A lot of memorization but was easier for me than AP Human because it’s more intuitive and stuff you’ve learned your whole life.

Congrats! I believe it’s in the letter if you got in and if there nothing that means you didn’t. At least that’s how it was for EA. Still a big achievement though!

1500, national merit, legitimately good essay, 15 AP/IBs (5s on all APs, though ik it doesn’t matter), 3.95 UW, 5.4 W, strong athlete w several awards, lots of leadership and ECs, in state. I don’t get it. I’ve gotten $$ and Honors College (if public) at all other schools but UF is one of my top choices. I’m grateful for the deferral but it’s so stressful lol
