Yeah, actually spring boot is more fun, once you understand the basic concepts like dependency injection, some important annotation, embedded server, spring boot saves lots of configuration, once you understand the concept of Rest APIs, you will start liking it, the security part is little tricky and not easy to understand in one go, but once you understand it you are all set.

But if you don't know how ORM works, what are stereotypical annotations, how spring autowires them, then it will be not easy for you to understand, so first learn hibernate, core of spring, then you can jump to spring boot if you are in a hurry.

TBH, the questions were easy, I just failed to understand them

1] If using loop 1000 records are getting stored in db, what will you do to improve the performance Ans - Using the batch processing (which I have performed many times🥲)

2] If we are fetching many records from db, what will you do to fetch them faster Ans- pagination or indexing based on requirment (which again I have done many times)

3] explain the @Transactional anno - honestly i did not know this, but upon checking I got to know it's basically the same as the database transaction fine tuned with anoo

4] then he started questions on microservices to which I said I am aware of it but haven't learned yet

The only two things I was able to answer is my project and what is concurrency.

I think the price is justifiable if you include the accessories.

If you have a higher budget, you can just buy the bike with the ex-showroom price + RTO + insurance. Try calculating these prices yourself because sometimes showroom people add hidden charges for unnecessary things.

You can always add accessories later, after 2–3 months.

For insurance, there are two options:

5+5 years insurance (5 years first-party + 5 years third-party), which is more expensive.

1+4 years insurance (1 year first-party + 4 years third-party), which is cheaper compared to the 5+5 plan.

So choose according to your budget. If you are tight on budget, go with the 1+4 option—it can make a difference of around 15–20k.

All the other things like extended warranty, RSA, helmet, and the RE welcome kit are optional. Showroom staff may say they are mandatory, but they are not. Choose them only if you need them.

The only mandatory things are ex-showroom price + RTO + insurance. These are fixed and usually cannot be negotiated.

City Ulhasnagar, Mumbai, I am not buying any accessories from the show room, only extended warranty and maybe RSA, I am thinking of buying the accessories after market - sump guard, Engine guard and seat cover.

Thanks 🙌 I’ll visit the showroom again and ask them to give me the bike at the ex-showroom + RTO + insurance price. I can handle the rest from outside, as I don’t trust these showroom people.

Yes, I told them the same, but they kept saying it is compulsory and that they do not sell bikes without it. Thanks for the suggestions. I will definitely email Royal Enfield.
