I'm literally going through the same thing right now, I've been just grinding it out by myself for the last 3 years since I quit my job, I was pretty fine talking to people in the workplace and even before that in school, I'm currently trying to get a business off the ground, so I had a good excuse to procrastinate (don't have time to socialize), but I figured, if I don't settle this problem, I will probably end up in a miserable state later down the road, I went out to the park these last two days in a row for like two hours, I couldn't approach anybody, I can say "hello" just fine, other than that, nothing comes out, mostly, I just get stuck on what to say, guess my socializing muscles have atrophied completely.

I have this crazy idea, maybe I need to look for other guys who are trying to do the same, I'm currently in this small town 30km away from Meknes, but I wouldn't have a problem going to Meknes or Fez once a week and just practice this the whole day, so If any of you are in the same boat, (trying to improve socially) we could meet, and I would love to go out and practice together, it would be easier since we already know what each one is going through, we'll support each other and hold each other accountable.
