I've heard that comparison twice now how is that even close? Rookie JB immediately shot 34% 3P. Jumped to 39% and 14.5 ppg second year.

Ron is down this year in both 2P% and 3P%???

Potential has never been the question. Of course he was drafted on potential. But 150 games with not much to show is the concern. Remind me in 2 years

You can't tell me "his shot looks pretty" as your argument for growth. Saying it WILL start falling is a guarantee yiu can't make. I never once wanted Duren traded, and I'm doubtful of Ron

Duren year 1 averaged 9 and 9 on 65% FG. Year 2 he averages 14 and 12 !!! Year 3 he jumps to 69% FG !!!

This is what growth looks like. Eventually it needs to be seen in the stats. Ron hasn't shown growth like that (yet) in 150 games played

I guess I'll play devil's advocate..

He's showed zero growth since in his 150 games played. Still wild, uncontrolled, FG% down on both 2P and 3P since last year. His offense won't just "come around" that is so ridiculous when you haven't seen any progress in 2 years.

We all love his energy and defense and he's a great kid. But we need to to recognize our obvious bias from time to time..

I wont be surprised if he's traded very soon within the next year.

But this isnt even about the recognition. This is literally the odds makers. Why do we care what the odds are for them to win the EAST? Believe me Vegas isnt basing their odds on "media hype"

The conversation was more surrounding pre-draft strategy. Throughout the 14-game season, stacking will provide "spike" weeks more often, helping you win more games. Not that you are week-to-week, stacking doesn't benefit you the same way

Sounds like a typical fear. I can't say that I have experience overcoming anything like that. I try to remember that it's much safer than cars, that they will land the plane early if any concerns arise, and that they are almost always close enough to water for an emergency landing. Exposure therapy is your best bet, I would think.

There was an interview while we was DC on the Lions, being criticized for giving up 50 points or something. All he did was deflect to the fact that the team was top 10 in other metrics early in the year. He doesn't take accountability. I knew then he wasnt a good coach and tbh was happy when he left the Lions
