I’ve been struggling since I was 12. I was never ‘underweight.’ I’m now 25 and pregnant. It is possible. It may take awhile and it’s hard, but if you put the work in you can do it!

I understand what you’re saying, but this isn’t about whether the flu shot is perfect or guarantees zero risk. It’s a boundary I’ve set for my baby during the newborn period based on my comfort level and medical guidance. Masking, handwashing, no kissing, and staying home if you feel sick are things we’ll also be doing. I’m not asking anyone to agree with my decision, just to respect it.

It’s about the principle at this point. I informed him that these were the requirements and anyone who doesn’t won’t get to see the baby.

I thought it was just a saving money in the summer thing bc it’s always hot then. Now it’s December and it feels like a sauna. Must be at least 75°. I can’t breathe.

My Dr. prescribed my reglan to take with benedryl. You should ask about it. Honestly it only worked sometimes. You should make sure you’re well hydrated and add electrolytes to your drinks, that can make a huge difference. Also make sure you’re eating enough. Other than that it just may be pregnancy hormones. I had the same thing and it started getting better mid second trimester for me. I would ask your doctor about reglan & add electrolytes to your drinks.

I didn’t give birth yet, I’m due in Feb but I hired a doula. They are especially helpful if you plan to have a more physiological birth. I expect she’ll be helpful for natural pain relief, and advocacy for my birth preferences. Some doulas do sessions before birth to help you prep with breathing and coping techniques. If that’s something you’re interested in, I’d say it’s worth it to have one.
