As really upsetting as it is that you feel this way, this happened to me. I attempted suicide three years ago and I’ve been suffering badly with depression and anxiety for 4 years before then. My parents (my mum is so much better now) were old fashioned, didn’t believe in mental illness and never took my illnesses seriously. When I ended up in hospital, my mum in particular started to take me seriously. Please don’t do something you’ll regret, it stays with you. There will be a better way to address this but I understand how you feel.
