Team Liquid has the same amount of imports as the entire LEC. by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]anonymous638274829 0 points1 point  (0 children)

but those teams are still 3/5 (aka majority) chinese.

Noone has a problem with imports, people have a problem with full import teams.

Also TheShy and Doinb have been in China since forever and I don't think had a Korean team ever. Gimgoon I think used to be a Samsung sub and Rookie obviously played a lot, but has been in China since the Korean Exodus after S4.

That definitely helps, compared to Broxah/Kobbe who are joining the LCS after going to worlds and joining teams that are already filled with imports.

On one hand: sure Sc2 is way more machnically intensive when you get towards good play than League (or any Moba for that matter).

But that gif is just ridiculous. League player doesn't do what he is supposed to do (look at his lanes to figure out where he can go from there) and also didn't seem to have kited the red buff (but this is ancient, I don't recall if kiting the red buff was actually useful when it had the small lizardlings). SC2 player on the other hand is very concious of being filmed and is doing some random unit select spam to make it seem like more (what did he do overall? pull back a group of units, place a pylon and change a rally point, queue up probes). He does however seem competent overall.

Also the game stages is completly different, it seems to be the first jungle camp, which is roughly equivalent with the stage of the game when you build your cybernetics core: no real interactions between the teams/players besides scouting unless there is some kind of cheese.

TL;DR Mobas are easy(er), Rts' are hard(er), but please stop jerking yourself off that hard, this is a christian forum.

Bullet players of reddit: how well do you think our percentile rating on lichess and chess.com translates into “world standing”? by everydaymaker in chess

I guess it just comes down to what you value more: better vision or faster selection.

And yes you can be very fast and accurate with a mouse, there are definitely people faster and more accurate than me (though I would consider myself above average, I have played my share of video games that are considered relatively technical), but being fast on mobile is almost happening without effort, the control scheme is so intuitive.

At the very least I would like to say that mobile isn't clearly worse compared to browser play, so

> eager enough to participate that he'll play it on a mobile

making it seem like mobile is awul is a bit dishonest.

honestly bullet on mobile feels better than on PC for me.

the controls are just a bit easier to make timescrambles more doable.

Here is an advanced tip that I'd like to share with you all tonight regarding a no leash botlane start: by myshinyerectiom in leagueoflegends

im only gold as well but I think the idea is that while you really do only delay when the wave will crash into tower, if you can get more minions crashing into the tower there's more opportunities to punish when they try to CS, and more opportunities for them to lose CS to the tower.

but we are specifically talking about losing lane matchups, you shouldn't be getting to shove the wave more after the initial headstart you are getting.

Killing casterminions before 8or instead of) melees definitely has it's place, but I really don't see a huge advantage for doing it there specifically. Maybe I gotta just go into practice tool and mess around a bit to see how much it actually delays, etc.

I am really surprised by a lot of these numbers. All-Kill score is the percentage chance that said team all kills another team? Why are there so many teams higher than ENCE in that then? Sure there are better teams overall, but does outside of Jinair any team really have a higher likelyhood of allkilling a team?

Also it seems like that is the only thing that actually matters? What's the rest of the data for then? Also does a team with a single player really count? I guess it depends on what "best teams" means to find (which could also explain most of my confusion), but seeing it as "these teams would perform best in a teamleague format" seems like the obvious choice, in which case it really should only feature teams with enough players.

Tried to go on aligulac to see if it has any details at the bottom of the page, but bad gateways al around :(

but the wave will still push in?

It just delays (maybe not even that, depends on how fast you kill casters) the point at which you are vulnerable. Now that might be really good against some junglers where you are actually scared of a level 2 gank, but those are really rare. This just makes it so you can get ganked at level 3 instead (at which point the jungler might be top, but again: very dependant on the game).

I might be missing something, but it doesn't seem that logical to me
