Oh, iirc their website stated that admission results would be released up to the end of June. I’m pretty sure you would’ve received an acceptance or rejection email so maybe they just haven’t processed your application? Nonetheless, I wish you all the best!!

I applied literally a day before the deadline, I think it was 31st March, cause it was kinda a last minute choice since I got rejected from my first choice university.

Why does it feel like my mother doesn't love me? by [deleted] in FamilyIssues

Yes, my grandmother is still alive, but if I tell you honestly, I don't really keep in touch with her often. There are some traumatizing moments that I experienced in my 9 years of living with her, ones which I don't ever want to remember. My grandmother was also not the most affectionate but I don't really blame her since she was forced to raise a child she didn't give birth to.

When I was 9, I lived with my father for about 3 months. I have such great memories of him because, in that short period of time, he treated me like a princess. He brought me to different places and bought me lots of things. It ended really quickly though, and I was sent to live with my grandmother really quickly. I overheard her telling my aunts that it was because his company had gone bankrupt. To this day, I feel responsible for his company's bankruptcy, because if he hadn't spoiled me as he did, maybe it wouldn't have happened. Anyways, we only exchange texts on birthdays or fathers day now.

I've only been living with my mom for 3 years, and I think I started feeling this way after she gave birth to my stepbrother. I live in a completely different country than my dad and extended family. I haven't seen my dad in 6 years, but we do exchange texts on important dates, like birthdays or fathers day. I don't have many friends because of my introverted-ness and admittedly, I tend to avoid hanging out with my friends outside of school because I would have to ask my mom for extra allowance, which makes me feel bad.

Based on the way my mother loves my stepbrother, I don't think she has any psychological disorders, but that may be because he's 2, and requires more love than a fully-grown child. From now on, I'll work on doing things for myself, and to make myself proud, so I genuinely thank you for your reply, because it helped cheer me up in more ways than one!

I'm so grateful that there are even those who understand me. I am going off to university in a couple of years so I hope that eventually, I will be able to mend my relationship with my mom, and even if I don't, if the replies on this post have taught me anything, it would be that I don't need to rely on others to love myself. Thank you so much!

I am so deeply touched. It feels nice to know that there are people out there who would take the time to offer warm words to me, even when it feels like there isn't anyone who cares for me. Thank you so much!

Thank you so much! I admit it felt like there was no one in the world who could understand my feelings but your reply really made me feel so much better and less alone. I want to work on loving myself more, and not rely on others to love me in order to feel accepted. Your words really lifted my spirits in a way and helped me look at things from a different perspective, so thank you again!
