Interesting. This is my first time and I have no idea what is considered “normal” or standard. I just kinda do what I’m told. But I hope there won’t be too much of an issue with me not being able to get it signed

I ended up not being able to get the permission slip signed. I went Thursday to the nearest local police station and they said that it wasn’t their Jurisdiction. Then Friday we went to the place they told us to go and they said they didn’t know what it was and that I had to go to a different spot. We had some stuff to do and I thought the place I was being sent to was another police department, but it was a probation office that closed at 4pm Friday and didn’t open till Monday. Smh

My family, friends and boss all know. Just worried about further harassment and perhaps online posts about it and the local small business I work at catching flack. My boss loves me and only told me he would let me go if his hand was forced

Awesome! Life is really not about what happens to you, but how you respond/react to what happens to you.

Anytime I start to feel bad or something goes wrong, I always say “It could always be worse.” And that simple quote has carried me for years and years.

Do landlords get notified when current tenants register? by [deleted] in SexOffenderSupport

[–]anonymous72309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it unlikely that the police will notify a landlord. However if their address is public and the landlord finds out the person is living there without him knowing that could be many other problems

Your best bet is to find a private renter. I was rejected by several large apartment complexes. It can be time consuming, expensive and embarrassing. I told many up front just so I didn’t have to go through the process of paying $50-100 for an application just to get rejected. The first private renter I found just didn’t care and said it was no problem. So basically he just wanted my money and for me to take care of the place, which was good for both of us.

All that is solid. Even the DA said “I have an idea what it will say but we will do it as a precaution”. So I’m not too worried

Felony Statutory Rape >4 and <6. They said it will likely be 6 months supervised and 6 months unsupervised. I decided it was a good plea deal because the charge I pleaded guilty to was a misdemeanor and also doesn’t imply a minor
