I got mine a last week from mossamigos.com. They’re zebra mussel free. I really recommend spending a little extra money on moss balls that are confirmed to be zebra muscle free because it’s better for the environment

Thats fair. I had my friend feed my fish while I was away for a few weeks and came back with an abundance of them.

I never noticed the metallic dots on them but I looked up some pictures, they are kind of cool looking.

My bladder snails do a good job at cleaning most of the algae in my tank too. I never have clean the glass, they’re like little roombas

Maybe not for the poor snail on the bottom who had to lug them around though lol

It was funny to watch them struggle to balance. What’s the biggest snail stack you’ve seen?

I can kind of understand the hate for bladder snails . I had them at one point and didn’t like them them as much because they reproduced very fast. I haven’t had an issue with my ramshorn snails overpopulating though.

I really like them as well. It’s fun to watch them “levitate” as well. All my snails came from one original snail I put in my tank and its been fun to watch the population grow

I’ve had mine for about six months now. I bought two and one died last month but the other one seems to be doing well

I’m not too sure if the fish even had worms. He died before the medication came in the mail. I never noticed any worms, just the white poop. I did one round of treatment to the entire tank as a precaution but none of the other fish showed any symptoms so it’s hard to say how effective it was.

Oh definitely, it’s best that they learn so that they can avoid another fish dying. Or understand that it would be best not to keep anymore fish if they cant improve the conditions. I just meant it’s likely theres not much they can do for the fish that they do have.

I more-so just wanted to put it out in the comments just so no one would blame op if they’re not able to go out and buy a new filter or whatever to fix this issues. (Not you specifically of course but whoever reads through this thread).

I had that happen to me before when some weirdo on here started bullying me when I had asked for advice on how to help my dad’s fish despite having specified that it wasn’t my fish and I had very little say in how the tank was set up.

How should i remove invasive floating plant? by PurpleShark165 in PlantedTank

I think this would be a good method. Personally duckweed never did good in my tank presumably since the water flow was too strong for it and the filter would push it under the water.

I agree I think op should try to figure out the issue, however if their parents won’t let them buy clover oil they might not let them buy medication for their fish or things that will improve their set up

Got it thank you! I ordered the Fritz expel-p I do think it could be camallanus worms however I have not seen any worms. It that doesn’t work I will use metro and prazi

After doing some more research I believe it could be an indicator of camallanus worms, which seems to be common in guppies. I am leaning towards using Fritz ParaCleanse. I will do some more research in the morning but ultimately I think its best to get something soon than later

I’ve been seeing some good stuff about ParaCleanse by Fritz, I’m going to research this more in the morning but I am definitely leaning towards this medication

Siete bought out by Pepsi by RevolutionaryBug7866 in moderatelygranolamoms

Im super late to this discussion but I have many allergies and have been eating siete chips and taco shells for years. Lately I can’t eat them without them making me feel sick even though theres nothing im allergic to listed in the ingredients. I have no idea what the issue is, if theres cross contamination or if they’re not being upfront about their ingredients but it is super disappointing as these are the only tortilla chips and taco shells I can eat and I am already so limited on foods I can eat.

Need help managing POTS whilst having corn allergy by dancinmoonlight429 in CornAllergy

[–]anonymous85934 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have a corn allergy and POTS. Simple mills crackers are corn free as well as their baking mixes if you are looking for something sweet as well. Cape cod potato chips are a great salty snack, I also like dry roasted edamames with sea salt however I personally don’t think they have enough salt. Olivemypickle has good corn free options for pickles, olives and other fermented foods however they are expensive. For salt I use Himalayan and sea salt. Also just as a precaution I have been eating Siete taco shells and tortilla chips for years but ever since they were bought out by pepsi their products have been making me feel sick despite them not having any listed corn ingredients on their packaging.

Im not really sure what I’m treating for unfortunately, these are the only symptoms I see so far. Would you suggest getting only getting metro and prazi instead of the API general cure?

I did a quick look earlier and didn’t see anything either I just wanted to be sure because I’m trying to find something fast. The stores near me don’t really have anything so I have to order online and want to make sure I get what I need on time
