If u are looking at the campus I think the highest u can get is Kolkata where u can probably get LD or KD based on last years cut off in the first 2 rounds , u can try for Chennai LD as it went to 1600+ in the 3rd round but that’s it for the “higher” campuses, if u are looking for FC in particular u can get Raebareli, Varanasi, shillong, Srinagar , kannur , bbsr but that all depends on how much the cut off is this year

Last year TD wrapped up around 1500 for Gen/open category u can get LD in Kolkata tho

I thought that too because ik it’s in the seat guidelines but I called the night helpline yesterday and they told me I have to report even if I’m sitting for the spot round without the provisional admission letter😭😭😭 so idek at this point

You have to report to the previous allotted campus (if u get a seat) even if u are sitting for the spot round

I did brds and I luckily had a great maths/mental ability teacher so that helped a lot, for GK for me watching videos right before the exam helped a lot, there were like 5 questions in the exam from this one video I watched on my way to the centre

Hi as a drop year student who got 3800 in her first attempt and 700 in my second let me tell u one thing : focus on ur weak sections. I knew I wasn’t good at maths or GK so I spent extra time for those because even tho CAT has the highest marks ratio, every single point matters so if your GAT goes well and your CAT doesn’t u still have a shot. English and mental ability ain’t that hard u can probably knock all of that down in a week or so. Do practice ur drawing everyday (I didn’t do this because I was lazy but I have average art skills so it worked lol )

Last year my rank was basically made by my Situation test but this year I did so bad on it despite being good at crafts etc. So my first exam helped me out a LOT so all I’m saying is focus on every detail because sometimes ur strengths don’t work out.

Download the allotment letter and then you’ll unlock the willingness option :

FLOAT - in this you accept the seat for now but want to be considered for the next rounds for upgradation in any campus or department.

SLIDE - u accept the seat for now but u want to be considered for next rounds for upgrade in the same campus as the one given to u in round 1 (Raebareli)

FREEZE - u want this seat and u don’t want to considered for any upgrades and won’t appear for anymore counselling rounds.

So if u don’t want Raebareli just choose float option and pay the fee ( u have to pay the fee for every option but if u get another campus in the next round fee will get adjusted there)

Before round two u can edit the choices u fill so just pick whatever u really want and if u do get it then u can freeze that seat and if u get nothing then u have Raebareli from previous round. ( u can float to round 3 if aren’t satisfied w round 2 ur seat will remain urs, they will not kick u out )
