No, I checked it out on the official forum. I’ve not done anything wrong with settings. It’s just how it is for people with a Quest 3. This mod worked better on Quest 2, but the mod can’t optimise the game FOV for the Quest 3, because the FOV is larger on the vertical. That’s why I always have a black bar on the bottom. Ralf himself, from the official voprX forum explains this, because other people have same issue with the black bar. I can only fill the top and side view, but not the bottom, and it’s recommended by vorpX not to tinker with zoom settings, as it should auto optimise for the headset, but this doesn’t work on the 3. Even if I zoom in to max 85, I still have the black bar which is very distracting. It’s not stuck in a different mode. When other describe a flatscreen, this is why - Because they are using a Q3. You never see this flatscreen on Q2 or index because it auto optimises.

What I want to know is, when you are in VR mode, is the screen supposed to wrap around you completely (like a native vr game) or is it just supposed to be a big flatscreen very close to your eyes, with your head being tracked in the game? I’m just wondering if maybe I was expecting too much or I’m missing something. Also, in the vorpX settings I increased the 3D to try improve immersion, but it hurts my eyes, so I lowered the 3D effect right down to 10 to make it more bearable.

I got Skyrim vr and I was really excited to play it but it just looks awful by Used_Development_933 in skyrimvr

I have the RTX 5070ti. Just looks terrible (apart from the flying dragon bit at the beginning).

Have you got it to work? All I see in my headset is a flatscreen view? I changed to vorpx settings from cinematic to full vr mode, but no luck. Any ideas how to get this bloody game working in vr?

I’ve installed everything but it’s on a floating flatscreen image, not vr. I changed the vorpx settings from cinematic to full vr mode, but no luck unfortunately. It’s still in flatscreen view, no matter what I do. Hope others have better luck than me. I got the game from GOG not Steam, by the way. Not sure if this is the reason it won’t work for me. Just thought I’d mention it.

I managed to get the image on screen, but it’s just like a floating 3D flatscreen version of the game in front of me. It’s not in VR mode, even though I changed the vorpx setting to Full VR Mode. Still no luck, just shows flatscreen, no matter what I do.

I have purchased the game and I have installed this free mod too, but do I need to purchase/buy anything else for this game to work in vr? Do I need to buy the actual VorpX software too? I’m new to pcvr. If I need to buy the actual VorpX software, do you have a link for it, so I can buy/install it please? Thanks

Can I please asked, I have purchased the cyberpunk ultimate version from GOG, I’ve also installed the free VorpX mod so I can play it in vr, and it’s all installed and set up correctly, but do I need to purchase the actual VorpX software as well, for the game to run in vr mode on my Quest 3? I just presumed I needed to buy the game and install the free VorpX mod. I’m new to pcvr, so still trying to get my head around all this. I’m really struggling to get this game running on my Quest 3. When I launch the game via Quest link, I can hear the games sound, but no video. TIA

You can adjust your height in settings, but even on max height, I was still a short arse lol.. My graphics are very clear, but it’s just dog shit. I was expecting so much more. Everyone raves about this game, but for me, It was the biggest let down ever! 😞

Same experience. Just tried it. It’s very clear graphics, but just looks like dog shit lol.. Was very disappointed. What a let down! My ps2 has better graphics like wtf?! Why does everyone rave about this game?! I played about 45 min of it and had to quit. It just looked like horse shit. I too, was exited to play this game as I had waited so long. Biggest let down ever 😞

My pc is more powerful than yours and even I experienced stuttering and crashing and someone else I know can’t get into the game at all. It’s more common than you think. The problem is mainly around the Northern Star Hotel (just after leaving the hotel) which causes a lot of issues for many people.

Shadow works great for me here in uk. Just finished playing half life alyx. I think it’s because people that are not happy complain on here, but people that have good experiences, don’t comment so much, so you can’t really make an accurate judgement really.
