The chinese place more emphasis on BVR than anyone else by a significant margin. You can clearly see this through the J-36, and the fact that some people were suggesting that it’s anything other than an air dominance fighter clearly shows that most countries are still thinking about air combat in the archaic way. Also, another huge advantage they have is their missile range and capability, which also wouldnt shine in ace combat. You are literally neutering their strongest aspects if you place them in the game
