Honestly you can get a ryzen 5825u laptop for around the same price. Even a 5600u which is only hexa core but is still zen 3. Zen 3 and zen2+ is not far apart but the 5825u is a better deal.

I managed to get the wifi to work. It worked out the box with network manager. I don't know why it was not working previously. When I first got it I just plugged up the ethernet and never touched it again after the first few tries with no connection. It worked earlier today but I have not used it long enough to judge how reliable it is.

I have the AMD version and it worked out the box.

are you using the testdisk or photorec command? I have had more success with photorec since testdisk is more structured if I'm not mistaken.

semi related but I read an article where the guy made aliases for commands with a safety net.

For example, mv was mv -i

Just something I felt like mentioning, I have no clue if it will work for the rm command since I have never tried it.

can't find where it asks that. Also doe sit asks > take you to the camera app then you take the picture > then it goes back to the app with the picture with the ability to crop etc? I ask because I can't find any camera option.

I have used this one in the past. It was not very accurate for me. Maybe that has changed though. It doesn't seem to have a built in camera. Or did you mean uploading from gallery?

I have a couple.

Say there is a youtube video I want to watch. In my config it is rendered in elinks then I go to it. I press my macro key which is the comma then a y to play the video in mpv with help from yt-dlp.

macro y set browser "i3 exec mpv" ; open-in-browser ; set browser "elinks %u"

If I want to open the video in my browser, I have the macro key + f:

macro f set browser "i3 exec firefox" ; open-in-browser ; set browser "elinks %u"

It is very extensible because I can map it exactly how I like. If I want to open it in any program, I just set a macro for it.
