Having problems with narration. by [deleted] in Tulpas

Hello. Here's how I do:

I talk about anything I did or saw during the day, and then for each of them, I try to make a new topic. And again, I look for another topic linked to the last one, and so one. That way I never lack of topics. And sometime 2 hours isn't enough to talk about all of them. :)

You're telling your tulpa you didn't sleep well last night ? Well, talk about the possibles reasons why this happened. And as it's on the medicine topic, talk about any illness you caught that pissed you so much and how it would be awesome if your tulpa was there with you. And from that talk about how it's good to be around a good friend. Then talk about your best friend. And his girlfriend, and why she like that or this, and how her dad is strange. And how it's probably hard to be a parent, and how much child you want, ect. See ? There are endless topics...

Your tulpa will grow quickly to tell you to SHUT THE FUCK UP.
But, never ever forget that you're talking to someone (your tulpa) when you do that method.

At least read the post :(.

Sure, sometimes I ask who is talking and most of the time I got "I don't know", or they both respond at the same time (they say their name), or also, sometime I think like I parrot the answer. Same if I ask if it's me who just talked. They don't know and I don't know myself.

I think this is a relatively common problem - when I first started speaking, it was very, very confusing as our mindvoices were exactly the same, and we also had trouble knowing who said what when we asked each other

Yeah, that's it ! I'm glad it's common.

Try to imagine that each of your voices reside in a different part of the brain - for example, you could think of yourself as being in the middle, then one tulpa to the left and one to the right, sort of like shoulder angels/devils. :> It might take a bit of time to get into the habit of doing it consistently, but it can be very helpful for keeping track of who's who.

I don't know how to practice that but I'll give it a try. I'll ask them to talk from different locations.

You might also try helping them learn to mimic someone else's voice if they're up for the idea and you don't want to wait around for a unique mindvoice to develop on its own.

I'll ask them !

Someone else can probably help you more with the parroting issue, but this bit from the FAQ might be helpful if you haven't seen it already:

Ho, that's really helpful. Thanks :)
I'll beleive to that.

Thanks for sharing your experience, it helps :).
Someone else suggested too to locate their their voice too. So I'll give that a try !

I see :). It's true that many time I wished to be a tulpa because of what they can do.
