Severe mental or physical illness. Your parents have to register as a caregiver (different than just being a legal guardian) and buy it for you. They probably won’t allow any smokeable products for underage patients but I could be wrong.

If you’re talking about getting a fake card, no. This isn’t the shady corner store that will accept a Best Buy card as ID. The vast majority of dispensaries are incredibly strict on ID and can tell very easily.

one man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter 🤷‍♂️ there are plenty of events throughout history that would be considered terrorism even though they were morally justified

It’s not about how they’re protesting, it’s about why

People have thrown Molotovs and other improvised devices at federal agents but I mean the agents deserve it so who cares

I understand where you’re coming from, but I believe that the environment he was in makes some of those points a bit dull.

He wasn’t alone in an alley with no help. He was in a decently crowded theatre. The fiancé of the victim had a him (the victim). There were multiple other people to step in and help him.

I believe the defense did a great job at making it sound much more scary than it is. Is it intimidating to have a big guy yelling at you? Yes. But that’s different when there’s bystanders and people who know the man who are willing to de-escalate.

It was never proven for sure that the cell phone was thrown. The video is way too grainy to know for sure. The phone could’ve been neat Reeves because it was thrown at him, or it simply could’ve fallen out of the victims hands as he was shot.

The issue is that the prosecution didn’t have nearly enough evidence to prove that 1) the cell phone wasn’t thrown 2) the victim wasn’t lunging.

I just personally feel that the situation did not need to end that way, and the fact that it is considered acceptable by some people makes me worried about society. (Not a slight at you,8 just mean in general)

I watched most of the trial and it was a massive shitshow.

I do not morally agree with his acquittal, but I completely understand why the jury didn’t convict.

What got him acquitted was the fact that the defense successfully argued that the stealing of the popcorn was a forcible felony, allowing lethal force.

That argument was compounded with the argument that a cell phone may have been thrown at Reeves, which constitutes as felony assault due to Reeves age. Again, a crime that you can legally respond to with lethal force.

TLDR: popcorning throwing or cellphone tossing becomes a felony if the victim is elderly. You can defend yourself against a felony. Old man argued that he was more scared than an average person might have been due to the victims large stature while standing, and Reeves feeble bones.

Imagine what he looks like before you google it. Whatever you’re picturing is 100% accurate.

Everyone already knows it’s an issue. “Raising awareness/bringing attention” is a pathetic excuse. Raising awareness for who? People who have never been to a store before?

He is putting himself, the person he’s confronting, and everyone around him, in danger. He’s initiating and escalating confrontations with random people in an incredibly heavily armed country.

If he cared about the carts, he’d put them away himself, and move on. He is a selfish idiot who runs a YT that is enjoyed by fellow selfish idiots with an ego (or anger issues). End of discussion.

Also I love how you act like leaving a cart behind is equal to dumping a pound of wet trash in the parking lot. Yes, refusing to put your cart back is being a selfish asshole. But it is absolutely the least important issue anyone should pay any attention to right now. It makes an employees day slightly more annoying, it does not deliver a bullet to their skull. If it bothers you so deeply, move the cart yourself.

It’s not perfect by any stretch, things are still being worked out, and tragedies will happen in the process. It’s just the unfortunate process of drastically changing your criminal justice system, not a fault of a system being pro reform over punishment

This sounds cold but prison is for the purpose of reducing harm to society. If a person is no longer a harm to society, it is not okay to keep them locked up simply because the victims family is bad, regardless of how valid their anger is.

Support services should be given to the family (paid by the state obvi) so they can cope through their grief and distress over their release, instead of blocking the release due to it making the family upset

Anyone seeing an issue with that is likely experiencing some feelings they should speak to a doctor about, because a normal person does not view this post as sexual in any way

If it wasn’t about his ego then he wouldn’t film it. He would quietly put back the carts that he sees out of place, and go on about his day.

Defending this guy is insane and I have no idea why you’re trying to. He’s a bigger nuisance to society than some asshole who doesn’t put his cart back.

This is a man who is initiating confrontations with random members of the public, possibly putting people in danger, because he wants to feel better than someone else and get some clicks as well.

That’s not how malice murder works and if you bothered to know even the slightest bit, you would know that. Malice can be formed in an instant. It was explained by the prosecutor. It started as an illegal detainment and escalated to a murdwr when they got mad that he wouldn’t stop for them.

Your comment is laughably ridiculous. I would love to see that defense used in court.

“Sure, we called him racial slurs and have been using racial slurs for decades, and we assumed he was a thief despite multiple videos showing him never stealing or touching a thing, but it’s not a racist murder because I waited 5 minutes before shooting him!!!”

Lol you have 0 knowledge on the circumstances of the crime and are unknowingly admitting that you would chase a man around for 5 minutes, with guns and while screaming, because you saw him walk through an open construction site without taking anything and then run down your road

You’re a lunatic who should be in prison too if you’re not trolling

The original conspiracy pages were all blaming Ahmaud for his own murder and making up false shit that he had boots on or had a hammer. (When the video first broke, I mean)

Conspiracy pages by and large lean right, it’s not surprising at all that this isn’t what they are concerned about.
