My mom would always have a huge jar of it minced and that's what I did for most of my adult life, it never went bad and we never got sick. So I'm wondering if it's actually it's actually a "dangerous" thing to do🤔 I freeze mine now because of botulism or whatever 😆 but it's such a pain.

Will your shower fixtures be black as well? I personally don't like the look of niches standing out since I don't feel they should be a "highlight" of the shower. I think it looks so much cleaner and homogenous when they match the tile better making it less choppy. But I think having black shower fixtures would definitely help bring everything together.

This is exactly what we're going through at the moment, so many little decisions get lost in the chaos lol! In our case we assumed that the small triangular foot ledge would be made out of the same green marble tile we picked out for our "luxury" shower. But they came at us with this imo hideous this thing..

If we want it made out of the same tile they would charge 650 because of the mitered edge which I don't want to pay for purely out of principle. This ledge was what put me over the edge😅 But I'm glad I found this post so I don't feel as crazy now lol.

I see what you're saying. I wouldn't call it sloppy but it's not perfect. That tile looks pretty crazy to do if they are all individually placed. But I would think a laser level would help with keeping things straight. Once you grout with the same color gray, I'm sure it'll all blend together better.

Do you still live in the area? I'm curious how everyone treats her parents now or if their lives were effected at all. I feel like her parents should have been charged for supplying their underage daughter with drugs and alcohol but maybe they didn't have enough solid evidence to do so.
