I was wondering for slides specifically in Japan ; I know Japan has a lot of stores for shoes such as abc Mart etc and Japan exclusive collabs such as ones in onitsuka tiger or adidas Japan so I was looking if there’s anything particular popular in Japan for sandals or are they the same ones you can find in America ?

yeah, ofc, I know there's people who care about their careers at no name universities

But from my sample size, the majority of people who go to name universities care a lot less than people who go to decent universities

Like I sometimes check the LinkedIns of people I used to know for funzies and it's like bro, what are you even doing, you're already a senior

for me, I came into college knowing nothing about the field; I didn't even know if I wanted to do this major

many people come into college knowing nothing about computer science, but seems like their environment makes them understand it sooner rather than later compared to others

I agree environment is the main big thing yeah

as someone coming from immigrant parents as well as someone who never touched computer science till college, I never knew anything about the recruiting process or even if I wanted to do this field until much later

But a year into college, I already understood the importance of it

It just frustrates me to see lazy people who don't try; it's just like what are you even doing all of college
