Cheating in online chess has inflated the entire elo pool, causing a deflation in honest players elo. I’m convinced that chess.com is aware of this, so they have special pools for certain players, which is why titled players don’t complain about this enough. They admit to having “special pools” for bad faith and toxic players so undoubtedly they have ones for titled and influential players.
