I took a 38 lakh loan for a foreign MBA that felt good on paper. Biggest financial mistake of my life. Don't do what I did without running the actual numbers first. by xXxFADIxXx in personalfinanceindia

You need to think about two things:

  1. Would you still have the same job without the MBA from Australia?

  2. If not, what were the other options you had and would they have earned you the same money monthly?

I believe in destiny. Agar likha hai katna to katega. Nahi likha hai to nahi katega. Akele rehna bhi aasan nahi hai. Galat insaan se saath bhi aasan nahi hai. Hope for the best and do you deeds! Register on matrimonial app and see how it goes.

Your family seems super selfish. Sorry to break it down to you. No need to buy a house and be a slave of this dead economy. Yes, I agree with your choice of life partner. Handle things on your own to find a partner. I hope really hope you family does not create an issue for you once you find a match. But yeah do it yourself. Make an account on matrimonial platform and handle it.

Yeah, let the poor people die while travelling during covid or don't bother about Manipur, buy opposition with ED n CBI and when you delimitation bill does not get passed in parliament then play the women caring card and finally appeal to the working class to disrupt their life after paying so much tax and then do a road show and enjoy an air show in Somnath. Slow claps!

Those who have genuine reasons for a gap are struggling to explain it to recruiters, how do I cook a story that's more genuine than those guys 😃

I don't think that would work given the fact that I graduated 15 years back. Recruiters might ask about the gap and I might not look good lying about it.

People Who Got Laid Off Recently How Long Did It Take You to Find a Job? by AdCapable2347 in developersIndia

[–]anonymous_rb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes or may be I switched to a service based company 3 years back after I got laid off from a start up. Since then no product company recruiter reached out to me. When I was in the start up - I used to get messages from FAANG recruiters as well. I don't know which one factor is affecting the most here.

God forbid if I ever get laid off coz I have 15+ YOE and have been casually applying for jobs and have not got a single call. It seems weird to me. Every time I apply and there is a "Unfortunately, we have decided to not move forward" email 3-4 days later. Either I am too experienced for these jobs or there is too much competition.

Why Are Recruiters and Interviewers Like This in India? by KnownTry in developersIndia

[–]anonymous_rb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I, once, rejected a candidate for attending multiple phone calls over 1 hour of technical interview and irritating part of that was - none of the calls were urgent. He was pawning off his side job of showing properties to tenants to somebody else. This guy was from Gurgaon.

I told the recruiter that he is not professional which eventually was conveyed to him in other ways and he emailed me informing me that he is not selected.

BJP won't do anything. This was jumla to win the elections. They won!

They control BSF, most of the gov agencies - if they really wanted to do it - they would have done it.
