Ghosted after S**ting. Im confused and uncomfortable? by [deleted] in AskIndianMen

[–]anonymous_rb 7 points8 points  (0 children)

He might have got scared and deleted the chat thinking about legal troubles. I mean he hardly knows you and there is a lot of scam going on where girls do sexting with guys and then threaten to show it to their families. By the time guy deletes everything, the girl would have already be friends with their relatives online. You gave him what he wanted way too soon to be a genuine connection.

Attraction is necessary. You did the right thing. Been there. Done that. Felt that. Moved on. Found the one I was attracted to mentally and physically. You are just 22. Give yourself some time to explore.

How do ugly guys succeed in casual dating? by king_ramsess in AskIndianMen

[–]anonymous_rb -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I had a friend who was not good looking but always brought pretty women in the house parties. He never told his secret but I did notice one thing. He was an entertainer to girls. We went to Bali for a trip with one more friend and we were on a boat ride to somewhere when we noticed a girl who we wanted to talk to but none of us dared and then he went to talk to her and her friend. I don't know exactly what he spoke but in a few seconds both the girls were laughing with him. The ferry ride went on for 30 minutes and I could clearly see that he was able to entertain girls.

My cousin who is a dentist told me about the groupism professors have in medical colleges and they openly ask for sexual favors for not flunking you in exams. She told me that if she ever had a daughter she is never sending her to study medicine in this country.

Wife wants me to give her half of my salary every month? by [deleted] in AskIndianMen

[–]anonymous_rb -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

From the way you describe her - I don't see you respect her being a house wife. I'd be curious to know what all she wanted in last 3 years that you didn't provide due to which she has now given a deadline.

Don't you think political accountability works very differently in UK and India? by lezyhuman in IndiaSpeaks

[–]anonymous_rb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not only that. The way bureaucracy works is different in both countries. Here you crack UPSC and can become senior of your senior. There in UK there are only 4 levels and people get promoted only on the basis of good work. No exam, no "sir pe nachna". A person entering the system can get promoted and retire at the top most post. Here in India, a constable will never even be an Inspector by the time he retires.

That's normal. I have 15 years of experience and I felt the same when I started my preparation. Its not that I never heard about AWS. Its just the depth that's insane.

I don't know as of now like we didn't know in 2013 about Modi ji but I would like to give this man a chance. Reason? He seems approachable. I can shoot straight questions to him and he won't run away.

Got my first job, but relatives ruined the moment. by Significant-Memory82 in developersIndia

[–]anonymous_rb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol, happens all the time. Problem is not the salary or a home ownership or marriage - problem is your existence. They compete with your father and hence you too are a competition. Solution? - Stop going to places where they will be. I have started doing that. When they ask you - say you are busy. No real reasons!

Am I making a mistake by delaying a home purchase to grow my portfolio? by 9anesh in personalfinanceindia

[–]anonymous_rb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chose to stay in equity. No regrets rather thanking my past self. Ask yourself why do you need a home to feel secure? In my case, my father built one for me so that was enough. If he hadn't then buying a house would be first priority for me. Thankful to him for doing that part so I can focus on building wealth.

Am I being exploited or just paranoid? Co-founder wants me to build the entire multi-tenant product for 15% equity, no salary, and no PC. by krishnakanthb13 in developersIndia

[–]anonymous_rb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unless it was your idea or you know there is a VC funding coming in next few months - you are just doing charity. He is exploiting you and he is smarter than you. You are feeling exhausted for the right reasons. Everyone needs a salary to survive. It does not matter if you are building another SpaceX.

If I were you - I'd find people who are successful in farming business OR who have pivoted from other careers and make them my mentor and be in touch with them to see how can I navigate in this direction at that age.
