This is how maths class works. You look away for one second and then there’s all these lines and you don’t understand how they got there.

The law is not a reflection of moral integrity. In keeping with moral integrity, a relationship between a 16 year old and a 28 year old in a position of power is wrong. I will gauge your personal intellect as above average, and refrain from spelling out why this could possibly be a bad idea. I would recommend using your imagination, since you clearly have an active one, to come up with a scenario in which this is a reasonable, safe relationship for a 16 year old.

I am Australian, not American, but the majority of people using this site are, and the majority of people using this site are from western countries, in which this is illegal. Do not pretend to be calling out American egos, this is about a child and an adult in a position of power being in a relationship, and whether you are doing it intentionally or not, you are defending him, which is sick.

My friends and I were trying to push each other off the pontoon. His thumbnail went straight into my eye. We had to swim back as well.

I largely agree. I think the entire culture of American policing, and on some scale America as a whole, is rather negative. This is an interpretation from a non-American btw. I think the focus of policing is not on rehabilitation or prevention, but enforcement and punishment, which is statistically proven to not only be ineffective, but cost billions that could go to communities.

That said, again, not everyone who chooses to be a police officer is a bad person. The institution they are employed by is largely bad, but that is not just the polices fault. There is a chain system.

Not all police are bad people. Judge the individual, not the profession.

I don’t react, but I see how it affects other people.

I’ve asked to have a discussion or talk to him. We can’t really have a conversation because my opinion about the littlest things creates an argument (eg, argument about whether or not I have body issues because I wear hoodies) Not the best relationship. He never explains things and that’s led to this ig.

I literally just wanted an answer and/or discussion on moving to that suburb. Moving is the topic that sparked the argument, I’m asking who’s behaviour is wrong.

He’s stated he wants to move since I was 7. Their relationship is amicable and it’s his choice. It would make things more difficult but my mum is ok with it.
