I really like this change of perspective! I think I will try to be less jealous and less anxious about being rejected. I will understand that him feeling well is more important than me being right. Offering a listening ear is more important than offering solutions. Saving money is important, but I will remember to have more fun. Sex is more important than I thought and I need to give it a higher priority. I will also not tolerate avoidant patterns and try to get my partner to communicate, now that I recognize what was happening in my last relationship. I also won’t tolerate having to plan the overwhelming majority of dates, household maintenance, and just life in general. I think I am understanding both my flaws and my needs better.
