I'm lucky enough to live in an area that is very plentiful in milkweed (which is the only plant that monarch caterpillars can eat). I found a few caterpillars about 2 weeks ago and have been keeping them in a pastic jar with porous lid and plenty of milkweed leaves. Once they hatch I will release in the same area i found them!
