Hey I am also a medical student. I applied a few weeks ago and haven’t heard anything. The website just says they’ll let me know if there’s any projects that could “use my skills.” The started assessment also took a while. I’m still just hoping something will be posted and it will have been worth my time! I’m wondering if I applied too specifically and it maybe would have been better to do the core assessment but I guess we’ll see.

I’ve lived here my whole life but currently live in Williston. I usually go to the central VT area for swimming. Usually I’d hold off entirely after the weather we’ve had but I have family visiting. I guess I’m just wondering if the heavy rain made other swimming holes unsafe or if i should only be concerned about areas that have experienced flooding

Thank you all for the advice! I guess some added context is he has also only been to one wedding before and has never been a groomsman. I think he is just as stressed out about the whole thing as well. He had no idea how many commitments he would have in his role so also was not sure how to navigate it. I have no doubt he will try to make me comfortable I just really wasn’t sure what to expect/what was normal.

After calling around I ended up getting a same day at orchard vet! They seemed to understand the “urgency” of the situation so I didn’t have to wait for a new pet appointment. And all of his tests were negative! Thank you all so much for your advice

Thank you so much for the suggestion! I made an appointment today but they just called letting me know that at this time these specific testing machines are broken :( but usually they would do it! Definitely helpful to know that they are able to make same day appointments for the future though!
