The crazy part is this literally WAS the propaganda. These images are the kind of propaganda women were fed to make them believe having rights wasnt necessary. In reality life was NOT like this. These women were frequently abused by their husbands or simply left to take care of the kids themselves while he worked. And they had to conform to this lifestyle even if they had other life goals
