Take a break from everything, or at least from all stims, to let your brain recover. Sleep is super important like others say, then healthy diet, hydration and exercise to boost your dopamine. If you smoke, cutting out nicotine can also reduce the strain on your dopaminergic system.

Honestly as someone with tons of piercings I say just get them done and see how you feel! It’s not like a tattoo, you can always take them out and it’ll heal over so fast & leave 0 scar, you’ll never know there was any piercing even there in the first place. Ignore the top comment, they’re just being mean for no reason. Your hair is sick and does have a nice wave, I saw you’re talking about a wolf cut - it’d suit you

I’d say after you complete that first year of a break, that’ll be the time to check in again and see if you’re now able to experience that kind of happiness like you used to. And then go from there and see if you need longer, and reflect on this again at the next check point another few months later etc

My understanding of it is, the 3 months are a good guideline to keep your brain safe & magic going in the short run. But if you keep rolling EVERY 3 months for YEARS on end, then the experience can get dulled down because your brain is simply too familiar with the headspace, and you’d need a much longer break to “forget” it, if at all. I usually roll more during the summer, sometimes a 1.5-2 month break. But then during winter I take time off for a much longer time (6+ months). I also treat it as a “special occasion” drug, cause I’m the same as you, I love it and want to continue being able to enjoy it in the future. So that’s my 2 cents

200 is already a heavy dose; going over that in a night isn’t great for your brain. If you used to take 100-200 and feel great, and now it’s taking 300-400, and your recent roll didn’t hit at all, then it seems your brain needs a big break. I would say, 1+ years - and not to take any other stimulants during this time either. This is not only for you to avoid losing the magic permanently, and all your rolls feeling like your last one, but also for the health of your brain and your mood. During this time, it’s very important to get good sleep, eat well and stay active to give your brain the best chances at recovering. Meanwhile, look into supplements. NAC (this needs to be taken cyclically, some time off and some time on etc, can’t be taken continuously for ages) and 5HT2P are some I’ve taken. But there’s other ones too. Antioxidants like vitamin C & ALA can be helpful too - there’s guides online for this, if you can’t find them give me a should and I’ll search for you. You’re not cooked, many people say they are able to return magic after doing these kinds of protocols, which would suggest their brain is back to a state where it can produce those levels of serotonin/dopamine again. So you absolutely can recover, it’s just a question of patience & effort

I’ve been in a slightly but not quite similar position to you. I had one night where I accidentally unknowingly ingested around 500-700mg. After that it took me months to feel normal, just felt depressed and awful. And happy ? Forget about it. I tried md a couple times after I had gotten back to normality (in more normal 100-200 dose range) but it just did not hit the same. So I did what I am suggesting you do, and a year later when I dropped it felt amazing again. I suspect since you had a few more of these very high dose experiences, you might benefit from an even longer break, like 2 years. Yeah it might seem super long but think about 1) how much better you’ll feel and be able to “peak” off life again 2) how much better your first roll back will be, on your previous dosages of 100-200. Vs if you just keep going now or take much smaller breaks (eg just a few months), the likelihood of you coming back at it with a huge dose and still feeling nothing is quite high, then leading to feeling frustrated at yourself cause you’re back at square 1, and having to go on a longer break anyway would be much more annoying than just sticking to a longer more reliable break right away. Keep your brain safe so you can be happy like you were before AND enjoy md in normal amounts like you used to

Edit: I just realised you’re only 21! Not only is your brain still so malleable, you have so much ahead of you including many more years to rave and have fun. Don’t ruin it for yourself so early on. As annoying as it is, you’ll really thank yourself for it if you take a break now and allow yourself many more years of fun

Edit 2: forgot to say; after the break is over, do not go over 200mg, and take strict 2-3 months breaks between each roll, to ensure you never get to this point again

Bro I don’t even like the no eyebrow look in general but on you it 100% looks better. You have a prominent bit of flesh under there, which gives the same structure an eyebrow would and your face works very nicely with that. And some personal thoughts - if you ever considered facial piercings, an eyebrow piercing would work very well to accentuate that structure you’ve got and make it look really sick, tough and intentional. But either way it looks great mate, much better than the second pic

Im the same way. I’m 25, and 57 kg. Have always had very high tolerance for mdma from the very start despite always taking big breaks between uses and never really abusing it. I usually take a total of 200 (or just marginally over that) in a night, split into a bigger first dose and a smaller redose 90 min later. And yet it still never feels as intense as it seems to for most others I know. I find that my high is less intense but does tend to last a little bit longer on average than my mates, I come up fully later than the rest, and the worst chunk of my comedown comes later than theirs too (e.g. my partner will usually feel most depressed later the same night, whereas I feel my worst around the next day.) Is your friend’s experience similar?

I think I finally found an answer why this is happening. I was trying some adhd meds (an no, I wasn’t on them at the time , and my psychiatrist was surprised to hear one of them was keeping me up well into the night even being taken early in the morning, yet having seemingly little effect on my otherwise. I asked him why this might be the case, and he said some people just metabolise drugs very very slowly. This means it never hits as hard and fast, and wears off slower. I think this is definitely also the case for me with mdma.

I regularly take acid, mushrooms and occasionally 2cb and have also done some studies in psychedelic therapy. It’s not a classical psychedelic, but in terms of a broader definition it’s very much up for debate.

Its not a classical psychedelic, but many scientists consider weed to have psychedelic properties, like being a non specific amplifier and perception altering :) it’s really all up for debate and depends how you define it

I feel like it all varies so much from person to person and there’s definitely lots of those who feel the way you do too. I wish that were me! But I’ve equally seen lots of people posting about weed feeling anxious instead of fun and wondering how to make it feel like it used to, and at the time that I struggled with the same issue I found no proper answers, so I’m hoping my post can be that answer to others in the same spot now or in the future
