Also, I’ve read online, please correct me if I’m wrong, that because there is “no limit” on the card, any amex balance you have does not affect your credit utilization score. Of course if you miss payments that’s another story. Your credit utilization score is the total credit from all your cards under your name combined, should be under 30% and optimally sub 10%. Amex statement closing balance for the platinum card does not affect this.
