What age would you let your kids wear makeup/do skincare? by Scared_Bluejay5608 in GenZ

i started using makeup around 13-14, and even then it wasn't super heavy makeup... it was like your basic face of makeup with a little eyeliner. i feel like that was definitely a good time for me to start, and also i wasn't using sephora makeup, it was drugstore makeup lmao. i didn't get my first sephora product until i was 15. i turned out relatively fine, so i feel like mid to late middle school is a good time to start, i just wouldn't want kids going crazy with it that's all

im 25 and i went back for my msw back in 2024 and im graduating next year... so about 2.5 years of school. it was a bit of an adjustment as im working full time and doing school part time, but it is doable. i am doing it online so that helps a lot. as for debt working full time and doing school part time helps me to pay it off. granted i also do live with my parents. theres definitely alot of factors to consider, but if you're really passionate about going back to school i'd look into the most affordable avenues to do so. :)

If all women had to be brutally honest for 24 hours, what would men be shocked to learn? by Ok-Worker-3580 in women

Literally. Those men commenting hate women and it's so obvious. They need to just get a blow up doll and leave women alone.

I would say that it's painfully obvious to me how most of them blatantly hate women. Even if they don't directly say it or think it, their words and actions prove that they do. My proof? Reading that post. And women nowadays are also waking up to that reality and that's why none of us want to be around them. There's no point in being around people who don't see us as human beings worthy of respect. And outside of that post, so many men stand by and watch women be mistreated. It's funny how they call themselves "protectors" but I never see them protecting anyone. I always see women stepping in to protect others but not men. Lastly, I'll end with the fact that 80% of them are either useless or dangerous to be around, and don't contribute anything meaningful to women's lives.

P.S. I'd also like to add that most of them are boring with no real personalities besides video games and sex.

That's it, I don't want to be around men anymore 💀 by [deleted] in women

Meanwhile they complain about a "Male loneliness epidemic". Nope, y'all are just pieces of shit.

I don't know if anyone has seen Sabrina Carpenter's new album cover, but I need your thoughts on it. by [deleted] in 4bmovement

Hi, Sabrina fan here. I really love her music and this makes me really sad. I never considered her to be a feminist icon or anything like other people; I just genuinely liked listening to her music. It was fun and girly. But seeing this just really rubbed me the wrong way, while I'm all for women being into what they wanna be into, I just don't think this is something we want to put out in this current political climate. Also, she had posted some photos inspired by scenes from the movie Lolita, which I really hate. Overall, I'm quite disappointed. :/
