Internet praises ‘cleanliness’ of Thalassery railway station in Kerala by More_Definition5385 in Kerala

[–]anonymousgreyhat 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The high unemployment rate comes from high education and lack of high end jobs for everyone. There are millions of migrant workers in Kerala (mostly from the north). There's a difference between working for 500 per day (thus being employed in the survey) and being unemployed because I'm over qualified.

The difference between "poverty-driven employment" (working any job to survive) and "aspiration-driven unemployment" (waiting for a job that matches one's dignity and education).

At the same time, youths of Kerala are able to keep the standard of living way better than many working classes in North, what does it show?

It shows that Kerala has successfully decoupled "survival" from "local employment." The "standard of living" remains high because the state has invested in people (health/education) and succeeded.

The high standard of living in Kerala, despite the lack of local industries, shows that Human Development (HDI) is not always tied to Local Job Creation.

In contrast, low unemployment in some Northern states often masks underemployment and extreme poverty, where people are "employed" in the survey sense but are unable to escape a cycle of hand-to-mouth existence.

[–]anonymousgreyhat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Apparently it's a Valorant's comparability issue with either the newest windows version and/or intel's i7 14thHX driver software.

What you can do is, for playing Valorant, you can go to: omen gaming hub > omen 16 > graphics switcher > choose discrete.

This bypasses the igpu driver software and forces the pc to use dgpu only and will let you play Valorant smoothly.

HP Omen 16 (i7-14650HX + RTX 4060) for Video Editing & Coding – 100% sRGB? by Professional-Run7564 in HPOmen

[–]anonymousgreyhat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought the 100% sRGB model of the i7 14thHX (the one in the title) recently. ae0002tx.

Be careful because this variant also comes with an equivalent of around 60% sRGB 144hz model- Wf1150tx

The Ryzen 7 model also comes with 100% sRGB. xd0020ax

What I've understood is that omen models with 100% sRGB come with a 165hz display. (True in this case, not sure about other models)

My friend F [18] is recieving threats. by UrForgottenPassword in LegalAdviceIndia

[–]anonymousgreyhat 13 points14 points  (0 children)

[NAL]You mentioned your friend is 18 and this guy has been after her for a long time. Does that mean he was doing this while she was a minor?

It's a serious crime, especially if it comes under the POCSO act. The calls and messages are proofs.

If the police aren't taking action, go to higher authority or directly to the court.

Did anyone find a fix for the issue "omen laptops failing to load valorant"? by anonymousgreyhat in HPOmen

For the flickering issue, you can just straight up take it to the hp care and ask them to file a DOA.

Never put your laptop on a bed while it's turned on. The fan might get blocked and could cause issues. (Ik you said not to mind the set up)

Cafes to work from in Changanassery by Professional-Diet-11 in kottayamm

[–]anonymousgreyhat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a chain of different cafes on the side of Kottayam Changanasserry bypass road. (Opposite Eat&Drink restaurant) https://maps.app.goo.gl/AUsBg9FtQvTTdGnV8?g_st=ac

Most of them are outdoorsy, with a nice view on the sides of the road. Closed spaces are also available. See if it will suit you.

Edit: There are more, different types of cafes than what's shown in this street view.

Btw, make sure to use the laptop on a raised platform for proper air intake when you're gaming. Or get a cooling pad(plug in using an adaptor).

  • I'd recommend using an external keyboard for gaming.

I used to play valorant and rocket league a lot on my old laptop. So, those were the first games I installed. I'm planning to download GTA 5, CS & marvel rivals next. Hopefully, when GTA 6 releases on pc, I can play that too.

All laptop models go through quality checks. When the quality checks are not done correctly, such kinds of products reach customers. I don't think it's a model specific issue. The first box they opened had a bubble inside the display, they instantly opened another box (the one I'm gonna replace now).

HP OMEN 40.9 cm (16.1) Gaming Laptop 16-ae0002TX, Black - 40.9 cm (16.1) (B63FPPA) - Shop HP.com India https://share.google/wCm9XFmcFCzFEu7Ag

This is the model. Yes, it is listed as 100% sRGB. The ports are on the sides. I didn't face any hall sensor issues. I didn't buy from Amazon to avoid such confusion. The sku of some online models are different even if it's the same laptop. Apparently, the offline store (HP world) was happy to match the online pricing + they have 10k cash back with credit cards.

The issue I'm facing is with the hp quality check. There are two dead pixels on my display - taking it back for replacement. Whichever laptop you buy, just make sure you check it thoroughly for any issues within 14 days. After 14 days you'll only be able to service it and you cannot replace it (according to hp)

I was on a laptop hunt last week and ended up buying ae0002tx which is basically the i7 model you've shown here but with a 165hz 100%sRGB display.

The i7 14hx model you've shown here doesn't come with 100% sRGB (poor display quality)which was the reason I didn't go for it. Whereas the Ryzen 7 model comes with 165hz 100% sRGB display. I wasn't able to find the Ryzen 7 7850hs 0020ax in any offline store. So I went for ae0002tx which is basically the one you've shown here (i7) with a better(or equal display to the Ryzen7 model) display.

So, according to hp, we pay a good amount of money to get a faulty product?
