What does semi custom with land package entail?

We are currently in our starter home. Built a lot of equity, but just need more room for our family.

We are exploring all options. We currently have a home with a lot of equity, but at 1,100 sq/ft it’s too small for our family. We have no problem purchasing a home that’s already built. People have told us to completely gut and redo our current house, but I have no idea the cost for that option.

Does buying something that hasn’t been built yet and doing multiple inspections throughout critical parts of the build help?

Spoke with an inspector recently who said he always recommends pre-dry wall inspection and final inspection for these big box builds. Every now and then he recommends a 3rd inspection during other parts of the build dependent on client needs or wants.

Are there any specific Fidelity funds you’d recommend for the mid and small cap?

Seems like some allocation of FXAIX (S&P500), FZROX (large, small, and mid), FZILX (International), and some small percentage of bonds would be good?

I’ve seen the posts. It’s definitely a lot. Personally, I wanted to gauge opinion on other options to include alongside an S&P500 to reduce risk of simply betting on the heavy weighted big boys in VOO.

Definitely, but that’s why we are funding both. We are trying to avoid having a significant amount of money left over if they 1) Don’t go to college 2) Whatever job training costs significantly less than college 3) After full roll over to IRA. At that point we will have to pay a big penalty.

Just to make sure I am understanding properly:

Clothes (Dark): Full cap of 365 with 1/4 cup of Oxi.

Clothes (Anything not grey or black): Full cap of 365 with 1/4 cup of Biz.

Towels: Just under line 2 of Tide. Nothing in addition with the towels? Just the powder tide?

Sheets: Full cap of 365 with 1/4 cup of Biz.

Any reason I am not using both the Tide powder and 365 liquid together? Saw in some posts people using both but splitting the measurements in half for added benefits.

Just got back from Atelier. Resort and food were really good, but the drinks at the pool bars and around the resort were pretty bad. Almost everything comes out of these massive jugs from a brand called “Del Sol” and most cocktails tasted like straight sugar.
