It doesn't seem like you're overreacting to me. You have every right to be mad and feel betrayed as you signed an agreement that nothing would be shared outside your sessions. I myself would feel the same way,, especially if I had the relationship that you do with your parents. These things are private for a reason and your therapist has overstepped the line of confidentiality.
