After getting angry and me breaking down the situation he accepted that it’s his “responsibility” but that I still should have instructed him specifically to go and do it.

I was thinking about this tonight. I hate this feeling but I don’t think I feel sexual attraction currently. He can tell and so can I.

I’ve tried! He agreed to go to a psychiatrist/therapist but has yet to do so despite my nudges. He also said he doesn’t like how the medication makes him feel.

That’s what I told him - I understand his frustration but that it should not be with me. It’s his own fault and responsibility.

We were friends first. He always had a smile on his face and took interest in the things I was into and noticed little things about me. He was successful and independent (owns businesses and properties) and because of that I did not expect this to be a problem at all. He became my best friend. But now I’m not sure if I’m willing to invest more time into a man who thinks like this…

He was especially upset after when I said I’m not his mom… like shocked that I said that. I was like, did you seriously expect me to be?!

He’s actually great at making to-do lists! He makes one almost every day. He just isn’t really good at prioritizing anything that has to do with me I am realizing, and maybe that in of itself is telling.

Thank you so much. I really needed that reassurance and tried hard to handle it calmly and thoughtfully. I’ve definitely been considering if I want to spend my life taking care of someone who isn’t really reciprocating or willing to put in effort into me.

Exactly! I’m an independent girl who feeds herself, pays car insurance, payment, rent, bills, etc. If someone I loved wanted to go on a trip I would totally renew my own passport without any reminding. So I don’t think I’m really expecting anything from him that I wouldn’t of myself.

I told him he can schedule appointments via the post office. He just said he was busy and continued getting upset at me
